YouTube video no longer available

video no longer availableHave you had encountered an error while watching YouTube videos? I had one that says “video no longer available”, a video that I uploaded on that hour that I was able to watch two times. That was on Internet Explorer browser, but when I tried to watch it in FireFox, it works like magic. Another reason why FireFox is better than IE, in my experience and opinion. I know there was no copyright issue, though if it had one, it would be ‘wow’ for them to have removed it in less than an hour. But the problem clearly lies in my local pc. I actually experience some discrepancies in my pc’s IE though. So I have to resolve it already. If refreshing the page several times does not work, which for some and for me does just because the video timed out, it could have something to do with the Flash version you are using which is no longer current. YouTube videos are streamed though an Adobe flash player, and videos always work seamless on the latest version, at least on IE.

To solve it, we have to uninstall the old version completely and reinstall the latest Flash player. Adobe has instructions on how to uninstall the adobe flash player plugin. After proper un-installation, restart your pc and follow adobe’s guide for installing the latest version of adobe flash player plugin. After restarting your machine, the videos should play again.
