A new version of Fring (3.40) has come out today. As expected it goes better. Upon loading the new one you would notice right away the difference in appearance from the previous version, snapshot on the right. Having the little status at the top and bigger icon is cool. With the new version you can already edit your fring profile, change nicknames of your buddies as well and upload picture too. What I like most about it is the “merge” thing. You can merge multiple listings for the same friend in different social networks into just one contact list. It is also now easier to add buddies from your phone book to fring contacts.
